What's Going On
Please stop by the Black Tie Gala thread and volunteer your services. We still need people to host games and come up with questions/pictures. The gala will not just be in our branch forum, but in the DMI Breakroom and will be open to guests. Please help out and make this a successful event! Maybe we will gain a few employees!
Stanley is also trying to get together a Christmas carol that we all record ourselves and Stanley will piece it together. Please stop by the Caroling with Allentown thread to offer your suggestions for the Christmas carol.

Congrats to the Ball State Cardinals for completing a perfect regular season! They are ranked #12 in the BCS and AP poll. Hello, hello my minions, hope today finds you well. Time for my weekly message to the branch.
We had a really great week here in Muncie, Indiana. Some new people in the forum, which is always exciting. Not-so-Secret Santa will be going here in a week and I can finally host my black tie gala I've been talking about for 6 months (the original date for the gala was June 27).
I'm going to keep stressing this as much as possible, to get any real use out of this newsletter (blog) we need people posting comments, offering suggestions, maybe (if it's okay with lemon) get a few more writers to the newsletter!
RttR is going great! Amazing job everyone. A special congrats from the Commander in Chief to our highest ranking officer, Staff Sergeant SchruteFarm1.
I'll be choosing the November EOTM on Friday (not on Thursday cause of Turkey Day). I've got it narrowed down to two people and I'm still not sure who it will be. So keep working hard everyone. I'll also have the EOTW candidates up on Tuesday as usual.

This week's task is to redecorate Jim and Pam's new house. You are to download a copy of their living room and use whatever image editing program you want to decorate their living room. You can add whatever you want, but you must not change the placement of doors, walls, floors, or windows. You also cannot remove the painting from the wall. This take can be a lot of fun and very creative. You receive 50 SB's for submitting a design. The deadline for this task is Wednesday, Nov. 26th at Noon ET.
If you haven't already completed the Cultural Quiz, please take a minute to do that task also.
Company wide voting has begun for the Business Ethics Video and the Sales Script has begun! You have until Wednesday, Nov. 26th at 3pm ET to vote for your favorite video and script.

We will then leave each other notes, gifts for our desks, send cards, or whatever you decide to do. It will be a great way to get to know each other and celebrate Christmas here at DMI-Muncie! I'm going to post a mid-week edition of my weekly address to get some information out there, and to get some more use out of this blog.
First, I had the idea to have a "podcast" of my weekly messages. I would just record myself talking about whatever I want to say. I could put it on the YouTube channel, but then anyone could listen to it. I can however post it right here in the newsletter. I will probably still send out my weekly BBMs, just not so many with as much info on the branch.
I also wanted to say that everyone should be making a blogger account! That way, you can subscribe to this blog, and you'll know every time there is something new and I won't have to post about it in the forum. This way, any clones that are in this branch to spy will have a harder time doing so. You'll also be able to post comments, so you can ignore what I'm saying, and praise lemon :^D.
That's pretty much what I wanted to communicate. I hope to see an influx of subscribers soon.

I want to take a minute and congratulate and say THANK YOU to SchruteFarm1 for taking on the position of Chairman of the Finer Things Club! Schrute has been a very active member in the FTC and I know he will do a fantastic job leading this club! Congratulations Our Employee of the Week, this week, is SchruteFarm1! Way to go! This is the second time he has been named EOTW. Please remember to stop by the ETOW thread and cast your vote beginning on Tuesday for this week’s nominees! Tasks This week’s task is called Sales Script. You are to fill in the blanks just like a mad lib. Corporate is actually requesting that you use “creativity and a sense of humor” in completing this week’s task. It looks like a lot of fun and is sure to be a fantastic read next week in the voting! We have until Thursday, November 13 at noon ET to get in our submissions. Voting for the Ethics Video task began on Friday, November 07. The videos look great. Thank you for your hard work on this task! Voting for the Mixed Tape task is now underway also. Please be sure to check out everyone’s entries and cast your vote. People got very creative with this task and it shows how much we really pay attention to the employees in Scranton. Voting on this task lasts until Thursday, November 13 at noon ET.
What’s Going On? It looks like we have decided that everyone would love to meet in real life. We have begun planning a real life get together in Muncie at the Chili’s, of course, on McGalliard. Why Chili’s? Well, as you all know, it is the new golf course. We have are looking at having this shindig in April or May of 2009. We are thinking about ordering shirts with the branch logo to wear. We may also hand out the Dundies here too. If you have any ideas, stop by the Real Life Muncie Meet N Greet thread. We will post further information there and of course, you can find our all about it here in The Muncie Minute! We have a new mini-task this week and it is off to a great start. We have come up with a tag line and mascot, now all we need is graphics to go with it. Head on over to the Branch Promotion Ideas thread to offer your services! Sorry this was late this week. DMI-Muncie celebrated its one year birthday on Saturday, Oct. 25th! Happy Birthday Muncie!!

Sorry for the delay on this weeks message. My weekend was busy and hectic, and I didn't get around to sending out the message. Okay, let's get started!
First off make sure you're doing the tasks and getting your ShruteBucks! You can go back and do past task from DMI 2.0 only. That is always a great way to earn Sb when you're new. If you don't want anyone to see your task submission for whatever reason, just wait until after the deadline and submit your task and you'll get the Sb.
Come by the branch forum! We have a bunch of people that have stopped coming into the forum for some reason. We all want you to come by the forum and play in some of the games! If you're new introduce yourself in the "Meet&Greet" topic.
Muncie celebrates its 1st birthday on Oct. 25, 2008! Come by the forum sometime that day and celebrate Muncie's birthday!

Come into the branch forum and at the top of the forum there is a poll that you can vote in that decides who will be EOTW for that week. I will pick the candidates off what I see them doing, but if your not coming around the branch forum then you probably won't get noticed. So if you want to be picked for EOTW then come by the forum!
All of our committees and clubs need your help! Come join either the Party Planning Committee, Branch Promotion Committee, Welcoming Committee, Finer Things Club, or our Newsletter Committee. DaveyMalone69 and mike1104 have been missing for sometime now. If they do not return by Friday Oct. 24, 2008 then I will need to start looking for new Chairpersons for their committees.
Come and join our "Rise through the Ranks" points incentive program.
On Sunday Oct. 26 at 7pm we'll meet in the branch forum and play a live action Office Jeopardy game! If you consider yourself and Office master, come prove it on Sunday night.
We will meet on Muncie's website in the chat room to have a branch meeting on Monday Oct. 27 and 6:30pm. The branch executives will meet sometime soon as well.
Have your Mini-Task submission ready by Monday Oct. 27 to begin voting! Your task is to create some sort of advertisement for the Muncie branch, to get people to join! It can be anything to promote Muncie. Any questions consult the thread in the branch forum.
Of coarse I remind you that if you want to leave DMI you can now delete your account.

The Finer Things Club has had quite a discussion this week about beer and wine. There has been a lot of great information given out by Hoskins, SchruteFarm1 and PollyProject. Did you know they are nearly 40 wineries in the state of Indiana? Who knew?! The Finer Things Club is always looking for new topics to discuss or stop by and add your two cents to any topics currently being discussed.
I encourage everyone to get involved with the committees on the forum. DaveyMalone69 is your contact for the Finer Things Club, contact Mike1104 for Branch Recruitment, and look up PollyProject for the Party Planning Committee. We can't be the best branch at DMI without U.

Our new task this week is Guess the Baby. You must match each picture with an employee at the Scranton branch. You earn 20 SB for every correct guess, with a total of 260 SB available. Please look carefully and you can go back and change your answer before your final submission. It's an easy way to earn some SB!
We still need to work on out videos for the Ethics Video task. You have until Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 at Noon ET to submit your video. If you need help or have a question on submitting please go here on the forum: http://boards.dundermifflininfinity.com/index.php?showtopic=16570.
The deadline for the Branch Mini-Task: Branch Recruitment Advertisements has been extended to Oct. 27 at 4 pm ET. Show us how creative you are and design something for each of the categories: Banners for signatures, Posters to post in the recruitment thread, Videos, or something else you can think of to promote Muncie! We will be voting on the winner and he or she will receive a desk prize and points in Rising Through the Ranks.
The branch winner of the ASCII art task was suppose to be named in Friday, Oct. 17th. The winner has not yet been posted, so be on the look out Monday for someone to be named. Good luck bmblebee!

The Muncie Minute 10/12/08
Welcome to the first issue of The Muncie Minute! I would like to personally welcome all of our new employees to Muncie and welcome back all of the actives. We have a lot of committees, clubs, activities going on here. Everyone is welcome to join all clubs and committees. Please check out Stanley's post, From the Desk. He has a lot of great information to share with us all in there!

We have currently ran through all of the videos that are available to us. Let's hope nbc.com puts up some new ones this week for us to enjoy! We have a lot of fun and great discussions at our viewing party. I hope to see lots of you there!!
First up, we have the Party Planning Committee chaired by PollyProject. This committee is very busy planning our first event, the Muncie Branch Anniversary, on October 25. If you are interested in helping out on this committee please contact PollyProject today!!
Next, we have the Finer Things Club led by DaveyMalone69. They are off to a fantastic start. There have been some wonderful discussions about shaving (who knew? Thanks mike1104 :)) and television. Lucky10liz has volunteered to lead book discussions. If you have anything to add to the discussions of the Finer Things Club please contact DaveyMalone69.
Last but certainly not least, we have the Branch Promotion Committee ran by mike1104. They are starting to get somethings organized in this committee starting with the Branch Mini Task. There is now a MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/dmi_muncie) , YouTube account and website to spread the word of DMI-Muncie to the world. If you are talented at graphic design or just vocal :) this committee is for you! Please contact mike1104 if you are willing to help out in this committee.

Hello Muncie employees, your regional manager here, Stan_the_Man55! I will make my weekly post to give all of you an idea on how the last week went and what will be going on the in the next week. Let's get started.
All of our committees and clubs seem to be doing a great job. The newsletter is going, the Finer Things Club discussions are going great, the Party Planning is going slowly but surely, and the Branch Promotion Committee is having a slow start but hopefully this weeks Mini-Task will help them out. They all need some people who are officially on the committee. So if you're interested, sign-up!
Our first Mini-Task is to create an advertisement for the branch. It can be a video, signature banner, poster, anything that gets Muncie's face out there!
The new task this week is to create an ethics video for Dunder Mifflin. I want to see creative, good videos, nothing of your dog for 3 seconds just to get the Sb.
We have our MySpace and now Muncie is on YouTube! myspace.com/dmi_muncie. youtube.com/DMIMuncie. A website devoted to Muncie may even be coming soon.
Our Muncie Only Monday's are going great! NBC has not been very good at all about putting up the new episodes. We have now watched all of the episodes available together as a branch. "Goodbye Toby" is the only episode we haven't watched on Mondays (we watched it Thursday night before the premiere). I don't know if we'll just keep re-watching all of the same episodes or I had the idea to watch the episodes on the regular player, then use another chat website to chat together. I'll have to see once Monday comes.
The "Award Incentive Program" is going strong with mike1104, lemonlime79, and myself being promoted to the level of Private. Congrats you two! If there is ANYONE that would be willing to compile the stats for me every week that would be GREAT! The program also needs a real name, so I'm also taking suggestions for names.
I think that's all for the week. On Saturday Oct. 25, 2008 the DMI Muncie branch celebrates its 1 year birthday. There will be some festivities for this momentous occasion. I hope to see everyone active in getting in their ShruteBucks and posting a lot in the forum!
